Useful information 

PETS

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets in any of our lodges. 

​

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

You will be text access codes the day before your arrival. Our changeover days are Mondays and Fridays. On the day of arrival the lodge will be available from 4pm and on the day of departure we ask that you vacate the lodge by 10am. This allows us to thoroughly clean, disinfect and replenish linens, drop, clean and refill hot tubs and carry out any maintenance before the arrival of the next guests. You will receive a check out form which we require with key drop off.
 

CHECK IN & KEY COLLECTION

Please check in at Reception to collect your keys, if arriving out of office hours your key will be in your lockbox and you will be notified of the code via text.   Early check in from 2pm can be arranged (subject to availability) for an additional charge of £25.

Call or email us to request. Payment to be taken in cash on arrival, or added to your booking balance to pay electronically. 
 

PARKING

Each lodge has free parking for 2 vehicles directly adjacent to the lodge. There is a limited number of overflow parking spaces available on site with prior arrangement only. 


COMPLIMENTARY  SUPPLIES 

We supply a small selection of complimentary tea and coffee sachets, NO MILK, (coffee pods in one bed lodges only - Nescafe Dolce Gusto). Under your sink you should find: dish cloth, sponge, wash up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tin foil, tea towel. Salt , pepper and spray oil should also be available. 
 

GROCERY DELIVERIES 

Supermarket deliveries are welcomed, please let us know in advance day and scheduled time as we monitor unauthororised vehicles. Please note your lodge name and the site address for delivery.  Ensure delivery is booked for a time when you expect to be available in the lodge to receive it!  If staff are around on site when deliveries arrive they will of course give drivers barrier access and point them in the right direction, however please make sure your mobile contact is available for the driver to call you on arrival to gain site access - you can give them barrier code to drive to lodge.

GROUPS

Unfortunately, we do not take Stag and Hen Party groups. Our accommodation is aimed at families, couples and small groups of friends. Please note, we don't offer any communal areas where guests staying in different lodges can socialise and gather. Lodges are not set up to accommodate multiples guests/ parties etc and we want to maintain a peaceful setting for all guests.  Therefore, we may not accept multiple lodge bookings depending on the purpose of your visit. If a multiple lodge booking is accepted, we please ask that no furniture or kitchenware etc is moved from one lodge to another – this makes it difficult for checking cleaning inventory and adds time to our changeover process. Please contact us to enquire.

PLEASE BEAR IN MIND

As we are set in the countryside surrounded by working farmland and rural activity, please consider your lodge experience may come with authentic countryside background (including both noises and smells!) which is out of our control. Throughout the months of October - January there are local shoots which take place twice a week in surrounding farmland. We always try to warn our guests of scheduled shoots so they can choose to vacate the lodge or choose not to watch. This disturbance is usually no longer than an hour. We apologise for this inconvenience. 
 

BEDDING & TOWELS

Bed Linen, towels and Spa robes will be provided. We ask that you bring your own bedding for infants staying in  cots.

​INFANT EQUIPMENT

We do offer a limited number of travel cots and high chairs, offered on a first come first serve basis and can be available in your lodge on arrival. Travel cot hire £15.00, high chair cost £5.00. Also a limited number of small zbeds available (only for certain lodges with space) £30 hire fee which includes linen and towels.

PAYMENT

25% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance payment due 6 weeks before your arrival date.  A £150 security bond is also required and this will be refunded within 7-14 days of departure. This is to account for any damage in the property. Bookings made 6 weeks or less before the start date for your stay will be required to pay the full amount at the time of booking.  For cancellations and further detail please see our Terms & Conditions.
 

SHOPS NEARBY

Within a 10 minute drive you have an array of supermarkets; Tesco, Sainsburys, Aldi, Lidl, Booths & Co-op as well as many other local stores in the market town of Clitheroe or Whalley village.  In your visitor packs you will also have a list of recommended local stores for Mens & Ladies fashion , giftware & Homeware.
